This is Deranged's 5th record for French label Listenable Records and seventh album overall. As country mates Marduk, Deranged continue to deliver high quality work within the framework and confines of their genre without deviating too much from their established sound. Founding duo Johan Axelsson (guitars) and Rikard Wermén (drums) continue to push the envelope of the genre by delivering yet another slab of horrifyingly brutal death metal. Remaining ever consistent Deranged churn forth another wave of bone-dusting blastbeats, undecipherable vocals and bowel rendering guitar riffs. Variation has remained one of the band's long running strengths and with this album they mix up the tracks enough without ever sounding inconsistent. The drumming of Rikard Wermén isn't triggered and while his attack is savage and unrelenting, it never feels unnatural or forced. 'Body Fluids Of Unknown Origin' ends with a serene piano piece and 'Alive Swarming with Flies' sets in with a horrible electronic sound effect that is sure to raise the hairs on your neck. The B in the title is a great find as the album is tuned exactly that low. The artwork is genius in its blood drenched simplicity and illustrates the band splendidly. It's downtuned, it's ultra-heavy and generally mid-tempo death metal with breakneck blast sections - just the way we like it. Deranged is one of the veterans of the genre and "Obscenities In B-Flat" is another wonderful addition to their already impressive resume. Highly recommend if you can stomach it.

...co do saksofonu to był to przypadek całkowity. Bo idąc coś zjeść do miasta napotkaliśmy kolesia który na ulicy grał na saksofonie. Zagadałem do niego żeby nagrał nam jakieś partie i zgodził się. Oczywiście nie miał pojęcia na co się porwał, do tego komunikacja nie była najlepsza, bo okazał się być obywatelem Ukrainy i język polski nie był dobry albo w ogóle go nie było...
