David Tibet’s lyric book published at last March 2011

As my work continues relentlessly on the longest-delayed book of ALL TIME, I wanted to give people an idea of the contents:

It contains material written by myself only – so those lyrics from the earlier albums which used texts from the Bible/non-canonical Christian texts/Gnostic texts/Buddhist texts/folk songs/traditional songs/etc will not be included.

I have included a lot of material I have written for other artists, but none of the songs that were written in collaborations of varying degrees for, or with, Douglas P., nor the lyrics I wrote with William Bennett. I am including the material I wrote for Michael Cashmore’s album The Snow Abides which was developed and changed, as requested by Michael, as responses to writings sent to me by him to serve as the basis of the text. The book will also include the material I wrote for songs on albums by Sigh, Six Organs of Admittance, Human Greed, Gary Smith, Larsen, Backworld and Æthenor.

Current 93 and Comus play Paris, 1 June 2011

I am over the Suns and Moons to announce that C93 will perform in Paris, France at the Cité de la Musique on 1 June with the immaculate Comus: http://www.comusmusic.co.uk • http://www.myspace.com/comusofficial as our honoured and invited guests. It is a profound honour and delight to again share the stage with one of my favourite groups of all time. They have always made me shiver and shudder.
