https://kagra.com.pl/produkt/rush-anthe ... latach-70/

Re: Rush
Tworki problems.
A post to all of the fans that are struggling with this RUSH tour and even to those that are going. Here's one fan's perspective and decision to not to attend.
I had two front row seats in my cart during the original citi pre-sale. I had a gamut of emotions and thoughts for a long 10 minute period and decided to let them expire. I've spent a couple of hours clicking on tickets on subsequent sales and not pulling the trigger. It was a strange experience to not purchase VIP front row center meet and greet tickets for a band that I have loved so dearly for the past 45 years. In the past I would have risked getting fired from a job just to see them for the third time on the same tour in the nose bleed section. Although I 100% agree that prices are beyond absurd, I still could have purchased the front row tickets.
We (fans) all mourned the end of Rush 10 years ago. Beyond The Lighted Stage was the funeral. We all mourned Neil's passing 5 years ago. We've all watched Geddy and Alex stay active and enjoy their retirement with writing books, acting, hosting television shows, performing with other musicians, launching a beer and mustard brand, and keeping in touch with their fans.
What I've come up with after a couple of weeks of introspection is this: This is post covid "Rush". Just like everything else since the pandemic, it is a watered-down more expensive version. It is two 72 year old musicians playing cover versions of their own songs with a relatively unknown drummer that isn't a fan of their music. Plus there will be an additional 4th musician added to the roster and the length of the show has been shortened. Most importantly, the man whose lyrics articulated our own thoughts and feelings about life and inspired half the fan base to play drums will not be a part of this. I couldn't imagine anyone replacing Alex or Geddy and still calling the band Rush.
Without all 3 members, I have no desire to see them as Rush. For me, they have tarnished their legacy by resurrecting the Rush name without Neil. Rush ended as perfectly as any band could have 10 years ago. As sad a time as that was, they called it a day while on top with a perfect career defining last album. What I finally realized about this tour is that I don't see this as Rush. It kinda looks like Rush and will probably kinda sound like Rush, but it won't feel the same or look the same. It's all or nothing for me as a fan. Rush is Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart...period.
Well, that's my reasoning for not partaking in whatever this is. I'm naturally curious to see what happens, so I will probably watch youtube clips to see how things turned out.
One final thought. Maybe they should have just called it Rash, because they have chappped a lot of asses.
