Dear Malevolent fans, far and wide:
It is with immense sadness that we report our helmsman Phillip Fasciana was admitted to the ICU in Montpelier, France last night. He developed what the doctors deemed to be a severe case of bacterial pneumonia, which may have spread to surrounding organs. He has been listed as being in critical condition. His family has been notified and will be deciding on next steps, based on what is best for Phil's condition and overall health. We are all crushed to see him in this situation, and it is absolutely life-threatening. So please, please keep Phil in your thoughts and/or prayers with hope he makes a full recovery. Make no mistake, this is a very bad situation and we greatly appreciate your love and understanding. It is with the support and direction of his immediate family that have requested we finish the remainder of the tour in Phil's absence, as he needs to focus on his recovery.

Hey, guys. Jesse here from MALEVOLENT CREATION. I just wanted to take a minute to give everyone the most sort of recent update that we've received regarding Phil's condition. He's still in the ICU in Montpelier, France. On a positive note, it does appear that some of his numbers are returning a little bit to normal due to the intravenous medication that he's receiving while he is dealing with his bacterial pneumonia. It's a very serious condition. And bacterial pneumonia can be absolutely life threatening in any age group, but most certainly anyone a little younger or a little older can absolutely contract this and then it can be a very quick and very sudden onset.

"A brief update on Phil:
There is positive news to share regarding Phil's condition. However, to understand the gravity of the situation, we need to be fully transparent with the fact that when Phil was admitted to the ICU, he was placed in an induced coma to avoid any intense strain on his cardiovascular system during his intravenous treatment. Phil has shown improvement, and the doctors are remaining positive based on signs of his recovery, as his infection has almost cleared up! He is slowly being taken off of breathing assistance, and he is responding to his name as they attempt to communicate with him, but he is not out of the woods just yet. He will likely be in the hospital for another week, at least, but his overall condition is improving. We cannot express enough how much his family, friends, and we as his brothers-in-arms appreciate the continuing thoughts, hopes and prayers directed towards his recovery. We will do our best to provide timely updates as they become available and appropriate, based on further developments.

Update on Phil's health:
Thank you all, again, for thinking of Phil during his admission and his continued recovery. He has been taken out of the ICU and is undergoing breathing rehabilitation in a smaller facility, to regain his proper lung capacity. It appears that he has beaten the bacterial infection and is showing positive signs every day! He will remain in the hospital for a short while longer, but all signs point to a solid recovery. We sincerely hope that the next update can come from Phil, himself! Thank you all once again!

Seeing posts like this freaked me out but things like this reach a lot of people. As of today August 1st I am having the last of my tests and if all is good I will be released on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I dont know how I contracted this bacteria but my lungs were filled with blood for some time now. I have to see doctors every month concerning injuries I received in a car accident in 2021 and none of the doctors I see that check your blood as well as other vitals never detected anything. Even after complaining about just generally feeling constantly sick and having tons of xrays, mri's and just general routine doctor visits. The French doctors knew immediately and after being in a coma for 8 days I was told what was going on and of course I laughed and said yeah right! One of the doctors asked me to spit on the ground and I did and sure as shit it was pure blood. My lungs were filled with blood and i was dying. A lot of work had to be done to clear up my lungs and a lot of strong antibiotics. But right now I am getting ready for a bunch of tests concerning my black heart. If all goes well I will be flying home on Monday or Tuesday. Thanks to my band members Ronnie Parmer Jesse Jolly Chris Cannella for saving my life and all the people around the world for your kind words. I have to take things day to day but I will be on tour with Krisiun in Brazil in September and our North American Tour in October. What a wild ride i had to experience the last 4 weeks but im back baby!!!

Philip Fasciana is going home today after a 4 week nightmare! Without the help of our friend Jp BlightMass who traveled back and forth 4 hrs everytime from his home town to make sure the doctors were treating Phil and held on to all of Phil's personal belongings and stayed in contact with his family the entire time. Between the members of Malevolent Creation Band and JP's fast acting to have Phil get immediate attention was crucial in saving his life. Scary times indeed! Phil will be getting treated at home now and hope everything goes well.

"I am doing everything in my power to make a full recover in the next month to complete the Malevolent Creation Band touring schedule fir Brazil and North America this September and October and then we will stop all live performances so we can concentrate on the recording of our 14th studio album which will be a fast and heavy OSDM in the vein of " Retribution".
