NEW EP FEATURING UNRELEASED TRACKS PLUS 2 VIDEOS
The Longest Year, a new four track EP from Swedish masters of melancholy Katatonia is released on Peaceville Records on March 15th.

Alongside new single The Longest Year, taken from the recent Night is the New Day album, this new EP also features the previously unreleased track Sold Heart, Day & Then the Shade remix and an alternative version of Idle Blood plus the videos for both The Longest Year directed by Charlie Granberg (My Dying Bride) and Day & Then The Shade directed by Lasse Hoile (Porcupine Tree, Opeth).

The EP is now available to pre-order from the Peaceville store.

Katatonia - Last Fair Deal Gone Down (10th anniversary edition) (Double CD)




Originally released in 2001, Last Fair Deal Gone Down saw Katatonia ambitiously expanding their sound to create one of the most celebrated Metal albums of the year.

Containing 11 tracks of high-emotion and searing social commentary, including the singles ‘Teargas’ and ‘Tonight’s Music’, the album resonated with Katatonia’s unique brand of Gothic Metal.
Following on from previous album, ‘Tonight’s Decision’, the album displayed a new found maturity and accessibility only hinted at on their previous albums.
The mournful vocals of Jonas are, as ever, ably backed by the inventive guitar work of Anders to create a potent and absorbing atmosphere.

This special anniversary edition marks 10 years since the album’s release, considered by many as Katatonia’s break-through album, & is presented in mediabook format.
The ‘Last Fair Deal Gone Down’ anniversary edition features tracks on disc-2 from the ‘Teargas’ & ‘Tonight’s Music’ singles, originally also released in 2001, plus updated artwork from Travis Smith, created specially for this release.

KATATONIA's May 6, 2011 concert at Koko in London, England was professionally filmed/recorded for a future DVD release. The show, which was part of the 20th-anniversary "Last Fair Day Gone Night Tour 2011", saw the band perform two sets. The first set consisted of a performance of the entire "Last Fair Deal Gone Down" album front to back. The second set was a mixture of carefully picked songs from the band's extensive catalogue.
