Yeah, in case you didn’t fucken notice, this is a death metal band. From Russia. Geez, are you fucken kidding me? Not only does this band’s name sound like a combination of two of their favorite bands, it also sounds exactly as fucken retarded as their music is. I don’t know what the fuck it is with Russians and their obsession with Dying Fetus, but "Private Judgement Day" actually is pretty tolerable. Is it any good? Fuck knows that that depends on how you approach it. Yeah, half this record sounds like "Sermon Of Mockery" Pyrexia and the other half sounds almost exactly as a mid era Dying Fetus, or early Internal Bleeding, whoever the fuck you prefer. Apparently this band released three fucken records prior to this one on godawful labels as Coyote Records and Sevared Records, so you know exactly what the fuck you are getting with this album. If these guys look like construction workers, it probably means that they are. Hey, that title track is actually pretty fucken sweet once you get past the obligatory stupid movie sample. That wailing solo, dudes. We need more of those. Stop it with the pig sqeels already. They were dumb then, and they still are now. Fucken stop it. They used to have this really cool looking logo too, which they apparently changed for a standard slam-death logo. Boo. Anyway, as always it is hard to tell the songs apart cos it all kinda bleeds together. That bass solo in ‘Guinea Pig’ was kinda cool. But yeah, it mostly sounds like the typical Comatose Music band. They ape a better known band, but don’t nearly possess the same zest and songwriting skill. What else is new? Water is still fucken wet, and no matter where I look death metal keeps growing more fucken retarded with the day. I’m not being frustrated, I’m being a realist. At least these guys are playing death metal, and not that godawful folk/pagan metal that continues to be popular in fucken Russia. Thank Odin for that. This is pretty tolerable stuff, not exactly great cos this is Comatose Music we’re talking about, but at least it’s not as retarded as it suggests...
