Confrontation Of Opposites 1995: Dark Forbidden Experiments (split CD)

I have never heard of either of these bands before, and that’s probably for a very good fucken reason. Neither of them were very special, neither then nor now. What the fuck this compilation is supposed to accomplish I will never know, cos it makes the cardinal fucken sin of being fucken half-assed, that’s what. So yeah, two Russian industrial black metal bands which were supposedly all pioneering and revolutionary when they were around for a grand total of five minutes. Yeah, fuck you too! Mysticum from Norway was doing this shit at least two years prior in 1993. Moriturus released one demo tape in 1995 dubbed "Confrontation Of Opposites", and then disappeared. The Xynobis material was culled from the "Remembrance" demo tape, also released originally in 1995. I have no fucken clue what happened to them, but who the fuck cares?! This compilation (a term used fucken loosely here) begs the fucken question: if both bands released one demo each, why weren’t these sessions included in their entirety? I love historical re-releases, especially the fucken hard-to-find local stuff. But this? What the fuck is anybody supposed to make of this? It hardly qualifies as more than a fucken EP with its selection of five tracks. For fuck’s sake, try harder. Would it have hurt to include each session in its entirety, and fucken unedited at that? Geez. No wonder nobody takes the metal industry seriously. It is a fucken joke. So what the fuck do we have here? A bunch of tracks of each band that aren’t ordered logically, nor are they placed fucken chronologically. Which makes me fucken scratch my head why SND Productions even bothered with re-issueing this fucken piece of Russian metal history. What is the fucken point? Odin knows the metal world has had it share of questionable re-issues, but this one takes the fucken cake for being the most half-assed of all. For fucken reals. Moriturus and Xynobis both sound fucken promising, but this compilation barely scratches the surface. I hope some other fucken label re-releases both bands’ recorded output in a more extensive manner.
