This is fucken amazing. I didn’t even fucken realize Benediction had a new record out, and it features Dave fucken Ingram on vocals, no less! Holy fucken shit. Did the stars, like, fucken align? This is fucken grand. Holy crap, dudes. Yeah, Benediction. They used to be pretty fucken solid. “The Grand Leveller” and shit. Odin knows that pure death metal is really fucken rare these days. I dunno. The UK usually makes me fucken think about Hayley Marie Coppin, Ivy Nedkova or Emma Kuziara. You know, big fucken tits. Natural ones, preferably. I can wax fucken poetically for days on end about the finer anatomical points of Coppin, Nedkova or Kuziara. Just saying. Supposedly you are here to read my incomplete fucken thoughts about music. So, yeah, “Tournament Of Destruction”, it sounds like a cheap ‘70s kung-fu/slasher movie title, but it is actually fucken solid European death metal. Not especially amazing, just functional. I honestly don’t know what the fuck more you could wish for. Oh sure, the drumming is fucken boring. Ian Treacy used to be fucken better than this, and the guitar solos hardly qualify as such – but that’s the fucken price you pay for tradition. I swear I fucken hear the theme to “Knightrider” (the David fucken Hasselhoff one) in the melody of ‘Wizard Of War’. That was fucken grand. Holy shit. Who knew Benediction loved “Knightrider”? Haha, oh wow. You can hear the bass guitar popping away too. Not that Paul Adams is playing something interesting, but you can hear him. What is it with British people and naming their daughters Emma? I can name probably half a dozen Emmas that all have really fucken big tits and been in the glamour tabloids. Fucken hell. I dunno what this has to do with Benediction, but it was worth pointing out. Just saying. So, yeah, “Tournament Of Destruction”. Really fucken stupid album title, but solid album in itself. What the fuck?! This band is German, you say? I was promised a new fucken Benediction record, and you fucken tell me this band is called Daksinroy? What the fuck is this shit?! It’s all the same to me, asshat. This is super solid death metal, very old school UK oriented. I wish I could say something more fucken constructive about this. You know, other than it being just solid, and groovy. Yeah, the grunt isn’t very convincing. Oh well, fuck you too.
