More fucken underground metal from Italy? Oh please, make it stop already. We get enough of that around these parts. Don’t ask me the fuck why, if I knew I’d tell you. So, yeah. Urna. Urna? Was ‘Urn’ not good enough for you bunch of pasta eating mourners? So this band released three records prior to this. Odin knows I never heard of these folks before, which is logical cos this sounds a lot like Shape Of Despair, or Esoteric’s early non-psychedelic material. For some reason stupid kids throw nearly perfect scores at this band’s previous records. Which is fucken surprising cos this sounds like the standard funeral doom band to me. A good funeral doom band, mind, but still not a very fucken original one. Odin know kids are fucken stupid and ignorant, but this really fucken pushing it. I mean, fuck, you are from Italy. Would it have hurt to use some ethnic instrumentation in your music? Shit like this could really fucken benefitted from some acoustics guitars and indigenous melodies here and there, you know. I mean, look at fucken Opera IX and their second album "Sacro Culto". They had that shit all the time, and it fucken worked. I congratulate you on sounding so fucken Finnish or Norwegian, but you are not fucken Finnish or Norwegian. I get it, I really do. You play Nordic sounding funeral doom metal. Any excuse is good enough to get your stupid band out there to Norway. Any excuse is good enough to try and get into the panties of funeral doom goddess Runhild Gammelsater. I would do the fucken same, but that still doesn’t excuse it, any of it, you fuckwads. Yeah, you sound really fucken heavy, with really deep growls and really, really, really long songs. For fuck’s sake, I’m enjoying this – but to give this a perfect score? Who the fuck are you kidding? I agree that this is solid for the genre, but perfect?! Do you know what, or who rather, is perfect? Gina from fucken Breath-takers.com, she’s from Italy too. You know, I’m going to look at some fucken pictures from her. Cos this stuff makes me want to put on my winter jacket and scarf. Holy fucken shit. It’s like the snow is coming out my speakers. So, yeah. Urna. Funeral doom from Italy. Good stuff, decent – not great, or particularly exceptional in the genre. I like it, tho. Which should be good enough for you hare-brained yokels. So, yeah. Gina. That sounds phonetically similar to Urna. I still like Gina more. Deal with it.
