Hmm, labels and distributors continue to amaze me (mostly in the negative sense) about which bands they decide to throw money, or contracts at. So, here we have Murder Made God (God Made Murder would be too logical, I suppose), which is apparently a continuation of the entirely brutal and entirely redundant Human Rejection. What is this then? At least it is not the terrible wigger-slam they used to be in their previous band. While not hailing from Russia, it was at least as awful despite the geographic difference. No, this is technical death metal. Meat-and-patatoes technical death metal at that. You don’t need to hear this, and I strongly advise you don’t check it out. Odin knows we don’t need more weedly-weedly bands that couldn’t write a song if their sorry, sacks of shit lives depended on it. Yeah, they sound like Hour Of Penance, I get that. Stop masturbating for a second, and think about that. Do we really need another Hour Of Penance? No, one is sufficient, thank you. It’s played all really fast, with really fast pounding drums - in other words, it’s the sort of thing I’ve grown tired of, and have been tired with at least since Origin decided that the best method to write an album was to just record one continual blastbeat, and record those noises that come out of a clogged toilet and pass that off as "vokills" or whatever term all those stupid kids use these days. No. I’d rather spent my days contemplating my next scheme to take over the blogosphere, or to get Jessica Kingham to come over to my place for an extensive session of... oh sorry, I got a bit carried away there. Bands like this are boring, pointless and stupid. Songs! People, what happened to writing actual songs? Death didn’t need blastbeats, and neither does Deceased, or Sathanas. Write a song, and I’ll gladly hand over my cash for your record. This stuff just makes me rage, internally and externally. What a vapid and pointless exercise in banality. At least they got some decent looking artwork. What a pity.
