After a few demos this Columbus, Ohio black metal debuts now on Hell's Headbangers. Featuring John Kohn (Father Befouled, Black Funeral) and now deceased drummer Antichristus "Pandemonic Ululations Of Vesperic Palpitations" is the band's long awaited debut. The record presents a scorching brand of bone-crushingly heavy death/black metal that takes influences from Angelcorpse, Bestial Warlust, Mayhem and Profanatica. Prosanctus Inferi take the same over-the-top approach as Australian pioneering war metallers Bestial Warlust with the heaviness of Angelcorpse, circa "Hammer Of Gods". "Pandemonic..." duly re-takes a number of tracks from the band's earlier demos combined with all new material. The band storm forward in a rather relentless fashion and while there's little difference between these tracks the tight execution and authenticity complete the unoriginalness. The production is similar to the aforementioned Angelcorpse album. The eerie abstract artwork add greatly to the mystique of this release. Overall is this a very satisfying and Christ-hammering release.
