Slovenian black/thrashers Bleeding Fist return one year after their formidable "Bestial Kruzifix666ion" on Washington-based black metal specialist label Moribund Records. This EP offers 5 new cuts plus a cover of Swiss proto-black metallers Hellhammer legendary track 'Messiah'. After the ritualistic spoken intro title piece 'Invocation Into Devil's Flesh' sees Bleeding Fist opting for a more traditional blasting black metal sound before going into their patented old school thrash mode. 'Defender Of Satan's Honor' is a more traditional thrasher mixed with sections of high speed Scandinavian black metal. 'Leading Hell (Into the Circle Of Blood)' is the darkest Bleeding Fist have ever sounded with a crunch that few can match. '...And I Devour It (The Light)' is closes Bleeding Fist has come to sounding similar to "Pure Holocaust" era Immortal. The Hellhammer cut is delivered true to form. The spewed vocals of Etienne "Hellscream" Chelleri well enunciated compared to a lot of the band's peers but remain demented as ever. The handdrawn artwork by Thailand's Sickness666 is great as ever. Bleeding Fist's mix of nuclear thrash, bestial black metal and primitive death metal remains intact on this EP, while adding a much needed boost of urgency and immediacy not often heard in black metal today.
