Punk/rock band featuring Adrian Erlandsson (Arch Enemy, ex-At the Gates, ex-Cradle Of Filth) and his adult model/wife Amber 'Morrigan Hel' Erlandsson. "From the Ashes" plays a fast and loose form of dirty punk-rock that is a lot heavier and mean than today's hot bands of the day. Compared to the likes of Paramore this band isn't as streamlined and smoothly produced - but musically they are comparable. Nemhain are far less poppier compared to the likes of Aloha From Hawaii, Juliette & The Licks and Paramore, and thus their chance to enter any charts will remain slim. Amber's Patti Smith, Blondie-like vocals are sensual and sexy and it's no surprise that she is the main focus and selling point of this band. Most of the tracks are accessible and hard rocking numbers with tasty guitar solos. 'Second Skin' is the first single of this record and features Peter Dolving (The Haunted) on guest vocals. Fans of Nashville Pussy and Rockbitch will find something to their liking on this record. The production by Studio Fredman is everything we've come to expect from it over the years. The album comes with lush artwork, design and lay-out. If you're into some dirty rocking punk with a sultry female on vocals "From the Ashes" is a sure shot.
