After releasing a demo in 2008 these North-Russian porn-death metalists were picked up by the respectable SoulfleshCollector Records and now release their first album "Gruesome Forms Of Distorted Libido". Why the label has bothered picking this band up remains a mystery as Perverse Dependence sound almost identical to San Diego, California bruisers Disgorge and "…And Time Begins" era Decrepit Birth. Victor 'Nester' Popov's inhaled and exhaled gurgles are pretty much similar to former Disgorge growlers Matti Way and AJ Magana. The occasional technical quirck is dashed by the most unrelenting savagery or the typical variety of porn and other supposedly shocking samples. The production by White Box Studio is similar to Disgorge's "Cranial Impalement" and "Consume the Forsaken" albums. Much like their peers in Purulent Jacuzzi, Cephalic Impurity, Sordid Clot and Katalepsy this band adds nothing to the established template that the American innovators laid down almost 10 years ago. The artwork by Matt for Mottla Art Studio is the only redeeming factor on an otherwise very stale and unoriginal record. The brief running time, just over 22 minutes, make the 15 tracks (plus outro) of this record even more forgettable. This will appeal to knuckle-dragging fans of Guttural Secrete, Soaking In Entrails, Malignancy, Putrid Pile, Inhuman Dissiliency and the likes.
