In order to hold fans over until their next full album Dutch death metal supergroup Hail Of Bullets now release the "Warsaw Rising" EP. Presenting two new tracks, a Twisted Sister cover and three live cuts recorded at Party San Open Air. The two new tracks 'Warsaw Rising' and 'Liberators' are typical Hail Of Bullets fare. The first being a faster groovy track while the latter is dark, slow plodding death/doom cut that reeks of classic Bolt Thrower. Both new tracks are excellent additions to the Hail Of Bullets' canon and fit splendidly with the material from "...Of Frost and War". The cover of Twisted Sister's 'Destroyer' is a nice touch, although hardly necessary. Following the studio recordings are three live cuts recorded at Party.San in Germany. These cuts present Hail Of Bullets as a formidable live unit and to hear Van Drunen's tortured wails in a live setting is really spectacular. "Warsaw Rising" is a good holdover until this band next album hits the shelves. This EP is limited to 2000 copies.
