    Feast Of Flesh ()

Wydane przez Pulverised RecordsRok wydania Kraj US/SwedenNapisał Wouter8Komentarze (0)Bone Gnawer - Feast Of FleshOriginally started out as Revolting (who also feature Rogga Johansson, alongside Razorback Records owner Billy Nocera and Razorback in-house lyrical contributor Tanya "Boargirl" Sim plus Elektrokutioner of Decrepitaph writing lyrics for this project) eventually through a number of line-up changes turned into Bone Gnawer. "Feast Of Flesh" lyrically revolves around real-life cannibals or their celluloid counterparts such as cult horror b-movies Cannibal Ferox ('Make You Die Slow'), the original The Hills Have Eyes ('The Lucky Ones Die First'), the original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre ('The Saw Is Family') and Anthropophagous ('Antropophagus Beast'). Musically this is similar to "From Beyond" era Massacre, "Scream Bloody Gore" era Death and the pioneering early Tampa, Florida death metal bands. Ronnie Björnström's riffing is very similar to that of Rick Rozz, Rogga's booming bass features prominently and the drumming of Morgan Lie (Naglfar) is stylistically similar to Bill Andrews (ex-Massacre, ex-Death). Kam Lee's vocals are as intense as ever, although they aren't as nearly as deep as they were on Massacre's legendary debut. The album features a number of prominent guest vocalists with Frank "Killjoy" Pucci (Necrophagia) on 'Defleshed and Skinned', Stevo do Caixao (Impetigo) on 'Feast Of Flesh' and Dopi (Machetazo) on 'Hammer to the Skull'. Album cover artwork by Headsplit Design (Unearthed, Circle Of Dead Children, Whitechapel, etc) and digipak layout by Mark Riddick (Arsis, Hypocrisy, Kataklysm, etc). Mixed and mastered by Ronnie Bjornstrom at Enhanced Audio Productions, Sweden. Although consisting of a mainly Swedish line-up Bone Gnawer sound more American than Swedish. "Feast Of Flesh" is a more than commendable serving of blood drenched death metal.
