Technical death metal like The Faceless, Necrophagist, Origin from Melbourne, Australia. Despite their young age Hiroshima Will Burn are highly skilled players as all tracks of this debut offer wild dynamics with skilful playing on guitars and bass. The drumming is functional but not quite as amazing as the string instruments. The bass guitar plays a prominent part in this band's compositions and the fact that it gets to solo regularly makes it only better. The instrumental track 'Laberinto' forms a great vessel for this young act to display its incredible technical skill with its jazzy drumming, exotic bass lines and weird guitar lines. The vocals are in the vein of Sauron-era Decapitated, alternated with high screams. Yattering occasionally comes to mind when listening this record, yet the band isn't quite as rabid and out-of-control sounding as these Polish masters. Recorded at Electric Sun Studios by Shane Edwards. Mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music in New Windsor, New York. Artwork, design and lay-out by Killustrations (Bilocate, Job For A Cowboy, Kataklysm, Aborted) make this a highly recommended package. Lacerated Enemy Records have once again outdone themselves releasing this record in mainland Europe.
