Brutal death metal from Davao, Philippines that opens with a typical sample from an obscure horror flick. Generally speaking this sounds like fellow Sevared Records artist Flesh Consumed, with a snare drum is featuring prominently and clicky sounding. The deep guttural vocals are undecipherable at best and remind of Brodequin. In parts this band sounds like a bastard inbred of Mortician and Internal Bleeding, circa "House By the Cemetery" and "Voracious Contempt" respectively combining the primitive ugliness of the former with the proto-slam death stylings of the latter. The lack of variation in the vocals is a definite downside, Dave Rotten/Chris Denied perfected this particular vocal styling, which since then hasn't been matched or surpassed. Guest vocals on 'Bizarre Museum of Eviscerated Whores' and 'Sodomize the Lacerated Rectum' by Marco (from fellow brutal death metal act Pus Vomit). These guest vocals are a charming touch, but are certainly completely pointless if both vocalists are nearly identical, which is the case here. Recorded and mastered at Polyfusion Studio between April to August 2008. The production buries the bass under the meaty and thick downtuned guitars. Artwork by Tony Koehl (Internal Suffering, Malignancy) is outstanding in its comic grotesqueness and wholly different from his usual mystical or more sci-fi based recent works. All things considered, this is too typical horror infested slam-death that is basic in execution and missing the songwriting chops to elevate itself above the level of sheer mediocrity. Sevared Records continues to deliver the most brutal releases of the global underground even though not everything this label releases is worth their stamp of approval.
