Progressive death metal with complex guitar structures, whirlwind drumming and spooky keyboards. The guitar structures are reminiscent of “Piece Of Time” and “Unquestionable Presence” era Atheist and to a lesser degree (early) Meshuggah, the exotic bass lines remind of Death’s later works while the synthesizers sound akin to Theory In Practice or “The Apostate” era Luciferion. Like Spain’s Unreal Overflows this band isn’t out to break speed records, but concentrates on delivering technical and progressive death metal of the mid-to-late ‘90s variety with recognizable hooks and acoustic sections. The dry production makes the whole sound a bit flat, but the instruments have the correct amount of space and its notably easy to pick out the numerous details. On the downside due to the dry production the drums sound almost as a drum machine. If this band decides to record their next opus in a fully equiped studio such as Spacelab, Mastersound or Gate Studio in Germany they should be able to harness their full potential and as a result labels should be falling over themselves to sign this band. “The End” features dazzling artwork by up-and-coming Hungarian artist Hjules (Annihilator, Elvenking, Grave Digger). Vic Records have done an admirable job bringing this band to a wider audience and making their music available worldwide.
