Poland’s Decapitated are/were possibly one of the most exciting band to arise out of the former Eastern Bloc since Behemoth and Vader many moons ago. After four records on Earache Records, massive global touring to support these albums the band recently inked a deal with German mega-label Nuclear Blast Records. To coincide with the renewed interest in the band Metal Mind Productions now has issued "Human’s Dust", a DVD capturing the band live in Krakow, Poland and at the Ozzfest in Katowice in 2002, together with a live set of the band’s appearance at the Metalmania Festival in 2004. All sets are filmed professionally with multiple cameras and make use of clever editing. The sound is once of the best so far of this label, carefully reconstructing Decapitated’s well-known explosive live energy on most sound systems. The availability of 5.1 Surround sound is a gift for those in possession of a surround system and adds to the real life of one of the band’s concerts. There are also two lengthy interview segments with Vitek (drums) and Vogg (guitars) in Krakow 2002 and another with Sauron (vocals) and Martin (bass) in Katowice 2004. Additionally, there’s the band’s promotional video for ‘Winds Of Creation’ off their debut album of the same name. The design and lay-out aren’t quite as spectacular as usually is the case with Metal Mind Productions DVDs. In fact, the artwork (especially the cover art) is quite similar to Yattering’s "Creative Chaos" DVD, which was also released by Metal Mind Productions. As always with Metal Mind Productions, the limited edition of this release comes in a nice digipack with an extra live CD.
