Singapore's Cardiac Necropsy formed in 1991 under the Infernal Scum moniker and released their first album in 1993. Now this career retrospective compiles the best known tracks of their recorded output. There are 8 tracks of 2001's "Sexxxblast Militant", 9 tracks of 2003/2006's "Scumwhore Superstar", 5 tracks of 2002's "Splitting the Vulva" and finally 2 tracks of 1993's "The Births Compilations". while the recording quality and productions might not differ wildly through out the different eras represented on this compilation Cardiac Necropsy remains a defiantly brutal force of the most primitive and insane porn/goregrind of the recent years. Much like (early) Napalm Death, Carcass, Hemdale and other grindcore bands Cardiac Necropsy blast, stomp and grind through the 23 tracks of this compilation. The cuts of this compilation are short and sweet, not wasting any time or outstaying their welcome. Of note is also the band's faithful cover of Gorerotted's semi-classic ‘Put Your Bits in A Concrete Mix' from their 2001 album "Mutilated in Minutes". The bass-heavy production, thick guitar tone and straightforward, primitive drumming combined with the often hilarious samples and Disgorge (both US and Mexico) like deep growls and shrieked vocals make "Sixxxteen Years Of Anal Addict" a feast for fans of goregrind and grindcore alike. Asia has always had a knack for delivering the most insane grindcore, of which Bathtub Shitter and this band are shining examples.
