This is the second album for Greek brutal death metal formation Inveracity since their 2003 debut “Circle Of Perversion” on Unmatched Brutality Records. “Extermination Of Millions” is released through Unique Leader Records, which given the nature of this disc doesn’t come as a surprise. Heavily inspired by the likes of Deeds Of Flesh, Severed Savior and Suffocation the band deliver 11 slabs of blood soaked, semi-technical US death metal in over little than 30 minutes. The delivery is fierce and faultless with an incredible finesse in the guitar and drum department. Vocally, Inveracity is close to Deeds Of Flesh, although this band has only one vocalist. “Extermination Of Millions” is blessed with a clear and detailed production, somewhat reminiscent of Deeds Of Flesh own “Crown Of Souls” although Inveracity has a notable better sound for both the drum kit and the bass guitar. Lay-out and artwork are a bit on the unspectacular side but fit well enough for a band like this. Nevertheless, artwork by Dan Seagrave or Wes Benscoter would have lifted this record immensely. Overall, Inveracity have written an album that is sure to put Greece back on the international metal map. With Inveracity now being part of the Unique Leader roster Deeds Of Flesh has a serious competitor within their ranks that could possibly outdo them at their own game in the future. Not the most original band around, but if you like the death metal course Deeds Of Flesh have popularized over the years, one can’t go wrong with “Extermination Of Millions”.
