Belgian grindcore merchants Leng Tch'e return for another 9 cuts of highly charged, professionally produced and unmercifully executed grindcore. The fearsome fivesome headed by Sven De Caluwé (Aborted) and Boris Cornelissen (ex-Suppository) have fleshed out the direction taken with their Relapse Records debut "The Process Of Elimination" and only have gotten more malevolent in the process. 'Confluence Of Consumers' and 'Self-Pity As a Daily Routine' are probably the best tracks the band have written up til now. The remaining tracks are of the same high quality level we have come to expect from the band and present the unit's various influences of stoner, hardcore and straightforward grind. French "survival grindcore" formation Warscars (featuring ex-Aborted skinsman Gilles Delacroix) present 17 outbursts of war-inspired grindcore. Warscars goes violently about their business, laying waste to everything in its path. The material is above avarage but never quite matches Leng Tch'e in composition and delivery. The war-topic isn't the most original subject to choose, but the band makes up for the trite subject matter musically. The split comes professionally packaged with great artwork, design and general lay-out. Be sure to pick this split up now, grind fans can't really go wrong with this.
