Every time when I put the album into my stereo, it promptly goes at full blast, whether I want it or not! A blessing in disguise my neighbors are rather indulgent. However, I’ve always had a blind spot about such brain-mincing releases. Worth mentioning is also a factor that “Dying From The Inside” is a sophomore full length material of theirs. Unfortunately I haven’t had opportunity to listen to their debut one entitled “A Conversation Alone” as yet (released via Household Name, back to the 1998). With such music as we are exposed on, the ‘household name’ is rather hard to achieve anyway. Year 2000 launched them toward rapidly growing English label Copro which eventually released this sonic carnage. If you prefer to feel comfortable and calm while listening I have to give you a piece of advice – stay out of trouble, wimps are not allowed here. Better stay with your HammerFall. Remember my words and keep on treading another paths of your most appreciated trends. If you won’t sign this, let me follow you further then. The point is that MEDULLA NOCTE is a big challenge for every reviewer. The task is nearly impossible to go through. Literally spoken this is a nightmare. But as it’s been written – among the blind one-eyed man is a king - so I’m gonna reign forevermore, as your medullas are gonna gash out of your cephalic cavities! To be frank, “Dying From The Inside” is as keen as a razor in hands of serial killer, as heavy as grinding roller and finally as insalubrious as taking to drink vodka with saturated jam! Sick to the core foes of silence they are! I love such unpredictable approach, one never knows what’s concealed around the corner. All the prodigy was very well recorded at Philia Studio (which is, as I presume, a court studio for Copro, just like Communication for Massacre or Woodhouse for Century Media, if you get my point). With these melting dins very weight thing is to obtain a good production and, what’s most important here, everyone passed the exam with a high score. MEDULLA NOCTE has been gigging a lot so we can take it as read that they are insane on stage as much as on the splendid record. Maybe one day they will give us a tangible proof of their envenom capacity, but for the time being just take a look around and afford shelter unless... unless you really crave for mental decease. There is nothing left to say but get it and gaze through the eyes of your petrified family! Zero hour! Take cover and... stay tuned, in will and woe!
