Born Of Sin is a relatively young death/black metal act from Trollhättan, Sweden. "Hell Will Walk the Earth" is the band's second demo, and was once again recorded by Marko Tervonen (The Crown, Angel Blake). The production work is quite stunning, reminding somewhat of the often overlooked "Gardens Of Grief" EP by the seminal At the Gates. The band has a typical Autopsy vibe in its rhythm sections with the usual Swedish melodic tendency. Vocally, early Dark Funeral comes to mind as piercing shrieks are all around here. Most of the tracks are mid-tempo on this offering, as far as song structure goes - it's nothing you haven't heard before. ‘She Must Be God's Whore' has a bit of the old Dissection vibe in its more melodic parts. There are some redeeming factors about this release, as the band masters their instruments quite well given the short time they're around. As mentioned previously, the production is crisp and clear. The drumming is a bit monotonous and tends to bleed the tracks together. Nothing earth-shattering really, but well worth a listen if you're a die-hard fan of old school Swedish death metal.
