Data dodania 2010-12-09Dodał WouterŹródło bravewords.comGerman thrash legends SODOM have confirmed that their new drummer is Markus "Makka" Freiwald, who replaces Bobby Schottkowski after "after personal and private problems between with mainman Tom Angelripper," according to a band statement.
According to Drummerszone.com, Freiwald played drums in German thrashers DESPAIR. After he left, Freiwald joined FLAMING ANGER. He is also known as drummer in VOODOOCULT. Freiwald played percussion as a session musician on the MOONSPELL album Irreligious and is also featured on the 1996 album Triarchy Of The Lost Lovers by Greek legends ROTTING CHRIST.
Sodom's new album, In War And Pieces, is out now overseas. SPV/Steamhammer will issue the album in USA/Canada on January 11th, 2011.
Along with the regular edition of the album, a digipack version will be released including a second CD featuring the band's Wacken Open Air 2007 show and a 16 page booklet.
