  • Die Hard - exit drummer

Data dodania 2010-04-05Dodał WouterŹródło blabbermouth.netDrummer Håkan Jonsson has left Swedish old-school death/thrash metallers DIE HARD in order to focus on his work with WATAIN and family life. His temporary replacement for upcoming live appearances is E. Forcas, who first performed with DIE HARD in Italy in February.

In other news, DIE HARD has signed a new deal with Agonia Records for two EPs and a full-length album. The band will enter BlueFlame Studio in Uppsala, Sweden on May 7 for three days to record a new EP, to be released October 31 in celebration of the group's five-year anniversary. Sitting behind the kit for the upcoming studio session will be Simpan.

DIE HARD's debut album, "Nihilistic Vision", was released last October via Agonia Records. The CD was recorded at BlueFlame studio with Teddy Möller and Fredrik Klingwall. It was mastered by Tore Stjena at Necromorbus Studio. "Nihilistic Vision" was made available in three editions: CD jewel case, digipack "inverted cross" and 12-inch vinyl. Each of the three editions featured different cover layout by Tyrant "Nifelheim".

DIE HARD was formed in November 2005 with the intention of "bringing the spirits of the past back to life," according to the band's official bio. "The goal was to play old-school thrash metal in the vein of VENOM, CELTIC FROST, SLAYER, SODOM and POSSESSED."
