Data dodania 2010-03-03Dodał WouterŹródło blabbermouth.netDutch atmospheric doomsters OFFICIUM TRISTE have parted ways with drummer Ronald Lagerwaard and have replaced him with Niels Jordaan (IN AGE AND SADNESS). The band states, "Ronald simply couldn't commit to the plans we have concerning OFFICIUM TRISTE's future. Because of this we had to make a difficult decision as we really appreciated Ronald as a person and as a skilled drummer. As a band we do want to perform live on a regular basis and that simply wasn't possible due to logistics and personal affairs."
In other news, OFFICIUM TRISTE is currently writing material for its fifth full-length album. The band says, "Right now we have plenty of ideas for 6-to-7 new songs and it's coming along nicely. We hope to finish the album before the summer and have it released this fall. This will be our last album under the current contract with Displeased Records."
OFFICIUM TRISTE's fourth full-length album, "Giving Yourself Away", was released on May 28, 2007 via Displeased Records. The CD was recorded at Excess Studio in Rotterdam, Holland.
