"New feed on new album
Shiver Records
In our 20th anniversary year we have joined up with Shiver Records to releases our forthcoming 3rd album. We look forward to this cooperation and we have high hopes that Shiver Records will prove to be a suitable partner for us. Insanity Reigns Supreme is not about big CD sales but at least now people will be able to get hold of our new album with more ease than was the case with our previous releases.
Stage One Studio
The new album was recorded in Stage One Studio (Belphegor, Legion of the Damned,…) with the help of Andy Classen. This has resulted in an extreme brutal sound and has raised our sound-quality to a new level. We were so convinced of our new songs that we knew we had to, once again, step up the production. That’s why we chose to join up with Andy, one of the best in the field. Work in the studio has never been this intense and needed extreme input and drive from every bandmember to pull it off. The end product however clearly shows of this intensity. Although we are firmly rooted in the underground, the sound of this album is as professional as you can get. Andy drove us to our limits and the result is well worth the effort !!!
Seth Siro Anton
To ensure that the new album comes with a visual package that fully represents the content, we have teamed up with Seth Siro Anton (Moonspell, Belphegor, Exodus, …). The result is nothing short of phenomenal. The artist had the following to say: “Whilst working on this project, my inspiration was at it’s fullest. This has resulted in something truly dark and sinister. It is without a doubt one of the best artworks I have ever done.”
Occultus Insanus Damnatus
Our 3rd album will be unleashed on the 10th October 2009 is baptized "Occultus Insanus Damnatus".
These 3 magickal words represent the band on various levels.
Occultus
The first word refers to the fact that we are very much rooted in the underground and are therefore "hidden". It is also a reflection of the deeper meanings that are embedded in the music, lyrics and artwork.
Insanus
Apart from being a direct link to the band name, this second word also represents the lunacy of mankind caught in it's own fictitious world.
Damnatus
This last word in the title emphasises the fact that the band carve their own dark and lonely path in this insane existence ... independant of all others.
So, we hope that this info will help you survive somewhat untill the 10th of Octobre but will also feed your hunger for some more insane riffs of hate that will shred you of your sanity."
