Arch Enemy - cancel Hunterfest show
Data dodania 2009-07-23Dodał WouterŹródło bravewords.comARCH ENEMY have issued the following in regards to Poland's Hunter Fest:
"Arch Enemy and many other bands on the Hunter Fest bill have pulled out due to the promoter not paying the bands their deposit.
Michael Amott comments: "This is a real shame as this was to be Arch Enemy's first ever concert in Poland. Unfortunately for the fans, this so called 'festival' is a scam. We will be looking into how we can play Poland with a serious promoter in the future."
Arch Enemy's performances this weekend at the Zwarte Cross festival (Holland) and the Lorca Rock Festival (Spain) will of course go ahead as originally planned!
Here is the official statement from our Booking Agent, Noisegate Productions (www.noisegateproductions.com):
"We are sorry to announce that Arch Enemy and a couple other bands have to pull out of the Hunter Fest in Poland for this weekend. The reasons for this are plenty and obvious. The promoter did not pay the bands. He had sent false banking statements in order to get confirmation from the bands for his event. Promises have been made he would travel to different cities in Europe and pay the bands in cash, which has never happened. We are simply sorry for the fans that wanted to see Arch Enemy and were looking forward to the event. We were ready to play and have been ready, waiting until now, last minute before leaving to the aiport. But under those circumstances, it is not possible of making the show happen! As we can not expect to be picked up at the airport, have hotels and be paid for the show at festival site!"
