After parting ways with Unmatched Brutality Records, who released "Artistic Creation With Cranial Stumps" in 2004, and "Reek Of Pubescent Despoilment" in 2006, Guttural Secrete are back in writing mode for their third studio album to be released through Brutal Bands. And with their second release, "Reek Of Pubescent Despoilment" virtually unavailable, Brutal Bands will be re-releasing this to be in stores on May 29, 2009, along with merch and BB package deals.
Brutal Bands founder Scott Ellingboe had this to say: "I still remember first meeting these guys at the Maryland Deathfest in 2003. After listening to their demo I was considering contacting them to offer them a deal, only to find out they had just signed with Unmatched Brutality Records. Now six years later we're finally signing a contract with this great band. I'm so excited and proud to have Guttural Secrete on board with us. And with "Reek Of Pubescent Despoilment" still in demand, making this slab of brutality available again is another added bonus. I can't wait to hear what these guys have in store for us on their upcoming album."
Guttural Secrete guitarist/vocalist Blue Jensen adds: "Fitz and I are insanely stoked about signing to this great label. We have known Scott for awhile and it is great to finally be apart of the Brutal Bands camp. The roster of bands is fucking sick and we feel this is where we need to call home. We are working very hard on these new songs in hopes of creating the nastiest, most extreme album we possibly can! We hope to hit an all time low with this next disc! Prepare Fuckers...."
