ATHEIST - one of the most influential technical death metal bands of all time – are back on track. They just recently signed with Season Of Mist Records. A new studio album is in the works, which will be their first in 15 years. Atheist will be joined by OBSCURA – who features in its ranks ex-members of Necrophagist and Pestilence. Obscura just released maybe one of the best technical death metal albums of 2009 on Relapse. Rounding out the package is GNOSTIC – Atheist’s brother band, who also just signed with Season Of Mist.
