Data dodania 2009-01-25Dodał WouterŹródło bravewords.comVenezuelan-based black/death metallers NOCTIS IMPERIUM, who earlier this year announced that metal drum legend Nick Barker (DIMMU BORGIR, CRADLE OF FILTH, LEAVES' EYES, ATROCITY, BRUJERIA) had recorded drums for their upcoming debut album, "Glorification Of Evil: The Age Of The Golden", have updated their MySpace page to stream five new tracks featuring Barker.
Commented founder Aeneas: “We felt that we needed a drummer with both skill and power for our material, and we asked Nick Barker if he would be interested in doing the drums for us. He liked the material, and agreed to record with us, which was fantastic for the band. He’s done an incredible job, it’s one of the most savage performances I’ve heard from him, and his work has produced just the sort of brutal sound we were hoping for with this album”.
In other news, the band are currently looking for a label on which to release the new album, and will undertake a tour of their native country together with SCYTHE and LANDSEMK. Billed as “Venezuela Tour 2009” the bands will hit the road on the the 21st February, and are expected to cover ten cities. Jorge "Pepino" Gonzalez (MOJO POJO) will perform live drum duties.
