Gojira - announce French tour support
Data dodania 2009-01-08Dodał WouterŹródło blabbermouth.netFrance's TREPALIUM has been confirmed as the support act for fellow countrymen GOJIRA on their French tour, which will take place between January 30 and February 21.
Commented GOJIRA drummer Mario Duplantier: "[TREPALIUM's] syncopated and psychedelic 'boogie death metal' is what makes [them] a truly unique band. Our paths [first] crossed eight years ago and we've always remained close since then. I'm sure this band is going to amaze many of you. It's a pleasure for us to share our stage with them and I have the feeling that the mix of both bands will create a huge mass of energy for every show!"
GOJIRA sold around 4,200 copies of the band's new album, "The Way of All Flesh", in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 138 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD's cover artwork was created by Joseph Duplantier, who was also responsible for the artwork for GOJIRA's previous album, 2005's "From Mars to Sirius".
