Blood Mortized - debut on Vrykoblast Productions
Data dodania 2008-12-29Dodał WouterŹródło blabbermouth.netBLOOD MORTIZED, the Swedish death metal band featuring former AMON AMARTH guitarist Anders Hansson (who played on AMON AMARTH's first two albums, 1996's "Sorrow Throughout The Nine Worlds" and 1998's "Once Sent From The Golden Hall") and CRYPT OF KERBEROS drummer Mattias Borgh, will release its self-titled debut album in early 2009 through Singapore's Vrykoblast Productions.
Commented Borgh: "All in all, twelve tracks are recorded [for the debut BLOOD MORTIZED CD]. Actually, some of the tracks will not fit on the 80-minute format the CD offers, BUT most likely you can expect some of the tracks to be exclusive for the vinyl release, or perhaps a 7" EP. Time will tell on that one.
"Something else I tried to do was to make small homages to my old heroes. There are some fills sounding a bit like old ENTOMBED, some parts are a bit like Ventor's old skin-pounding for KREATOR, there's also some BATHORY stuff there, some Dave Lombardo-style SLAYER ride playing and a ton of big fills! Well, I could go on, haha!"
BLOOD MORTIZED is:
Mattias Parkkila (MALFEITOR, STIGMATA, E.G.Y.P.T, EXCRETION) - Vocals
Benny Moberg (MALFEITOR) - Guitar
Anders Hansson (ex-AMON AMARTH) - Guitar
