Best described as black metal in the vein of old EMPEROR, this release is a sure sign of grim things to come. Produced by Jonny Maudling (of BAL-SAGOTH fame) and recorded at Waylands Forge Studio's Sheffield this release shall quickly become known as a blight on the black metal scene."
Written In Torment was formed in 2002 by sole member Leviathan, writing commenced immediately with tracks being recorded in late 2005 and early 2006. All instruments were played by Leviathan except for a special guest solo by Mark Greenwell of BAL-SAGOTH on the track 'LV-426'.
