Data dodania 2006-04-12Dodał WouterAfter the disbanding of CENTINEX, a new band is being formed. Martin Schulman, ex-CENTINEX bassist has the following to say when asked which are the plans for the future:
"But life goes on. The reason why I contact you is that I want to tell you about DEMONICAL, the new brutal death metal band featuring 3 Centinex members + a yet to be announced vocalist.
DEMONICAL can be described as "brutal and dark death metal, like the old Swedish bands from the late 80s/early 90s mixed with the Florida and Brazilian scene and on top of that, spiced up with some Nordic black metal.". If I have to namedrop some bands I could say "early Nihilist/Entombed/Grotesque, going via early Morbid Angel/Angel Corpse/Deicide ending at Krisiun and Marduk". So in other words ; brutal riffing, heavy downtuned guitars, fast relentless drumming and demonic vocals.
The DEMONICAL line up is:
Bass - Martin Schulman (ex-Centinex)
Guitars - Johan Jansson (ex-Centinex/ex-Dellamorte)
Drums - Ronnie Bergerståhl : (ex-Centinex/ex-Amaran/ex-Julie Laughs Nomore)
Vocals - tba
This is a serious fulltime band looking for a record deal, recording of the first album in the fall 2006 followed by shows/tours all over Europe. A promo/test recording will be done in early June.
This is not "Centinex part 2", this is a completely new band. Of course all the members (including the vocalists) previous experienses from studio recordings, hundereds of live shows and involvement in the "scene" for 15+ years guarantees that DEMONICAL will be a top professional band with the knowledge, talent, dedication and involvement needed in order to deliver a good "product"
