The expression is extremly atmospheric and brings you right back to that hard and tough viking era. The album is recorded in Conclave Media Studio in Bergen, Norway. Big Boss from Root will contribute with some guest-vocals on Helheim's new album.

"Helsviti"
This MCD was intended to be relesed in 2001, but due to label mess up, this never happened. In 2003 Massacre came and promised us to release it as well as "Yersinia Pestis". This time things did not happen as promised either. But, in 2006 Dark Essence Records and Helheim joined forces and released a limited (2000 copies) edition of "The Journeys And The Experiences of Death" together with "Helsviti" in a beautiful Digipack. The music is somewhat slower and heavier than the usual Helheim releases.
