Vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher provided the following Cannibal Corpse update: “It’s hard to imagine how we could get much more brutal," he describes, "but if you love Cannibal Corpse then you’re gonna love this record. There’s some songs that are maybe not the fastest we’ve done, but they are definitely the heaviest. I’ve been saying ‘nut rumblers’! We’re working with Erik Rutan so we’re very confident that we’ll get the production we want. When people hear these songs they’re gonna rumble your balls when you’re sitting in a chair. The fans are gonna love it. Why would I think anything else? These guys write great fucking music and it’s a pleasure to sing over it. Even Rob (Barrett - guitar) wrote a song on this album. It’s going to be killer.”
