Recording of the as yet untitled new Psycroptic album was started on June 28. The drums are now complete and were recorded at Red Planet studios; with the remainder of the album to be recorded at Joe's Home Studios throughout the rest of the year. Joe recently recorded and mixed the soon to be released Ruins album (www.neurotic-records.com), which turned out sounding huge. We're expecting this to be the best sounding Psycroptic album thus far...
We'll post recording progress, song titles, etc, when there is more to report...
We are planning international tours at present, so please check back for more updates which will be coming very soon...
In other news, Cameron and Joe just recently secured bass and guitar endorsements with Musicman, and string endorsements with Erie Ball. Dave now endorses Pro-Mark Sticks and Aquarian drum skins, thanks to Dan@Dynamic Music Australia. Jason is working on securing an endorsement with any Brewery or Distillery willing!
