Data dodania 2005-06-20Dodał WouterAcccording to the official website of Polish death metal titans BEHEMOTH, the band was was forced to cancel their Friday, June 17th show at the Summer Blast Fest in Germany due to a car accident the band had on the way to German border.

Frontman Nergal offers the following recap:

"We took off Thursday night for Germany, but on the way to the border we all fell asleep. Including our driver. I remember I was sleeping pretty hard when suddenly I felt the van start shaking. Heard one of my guys screaming at the driver. We were in shock. Our van hit the leftside guardrail and we managed to pull over shortly after. The car was still driveable but at the border they wouldn't let us through 'coz of the broken lights. We hate to cancel any shows and we hardly ever do, but this time it was an unfortunate accident. We wanna say sorry to all the fans who were waiting for us Friday evening. Shit happens but I can promise that we are coming back to Germany soon!"

Behemoth's June 10th show at the Sweden Rock Festival, on the other hand, went off without a hitch:

"It was a blast and it was the best present I could get for my 28th birthday! You guys were unbelievable! I never expected Sweden to have THAT much of an insane crowd! We promise to come back to Scandinavia as soon as we can!!!"

The show was filmed with four cameras and recorded on 24 channels for a future DVD purposes.
