States second guitarist Marvin Vriesde: "Over the last couple of days we have been laying down all the guitar and bass tracks. To be honest, this has been the most precise and dedicated recording we have ever done. We really worked everything out to the smallest detail but never lost focus of the sheer brutality of the songs. All the ideas we had and the expectations set before entering the studio, have been achieved and surpassed.
Patrick [Boleij, bass] did an amazing job, laying down the bass tracks last weekend. Due to his agressive style of playing everything got that extra boost and substance that we could have only hoped for. I will be laying down the leads for the album this coming Friday to round up the instrumental section of the recording. Then all eyes will be set on Dennis [Schreurs, vocals] as he will be doing the vocals during the next couple of weeks."
