Suhrim faces censorship issues
Data dodania 2004-10-14Dodał WouterBelgian old school death metal act Suhrim will see their new album "The Cunt Collector" postponed a second time due to censorship issues at the printing plants.
Johan Antonissen, bassist/vocalist for Suhrim, comments in a recent press statement: "The new Suhrim cd normally named "The Cunt Collector", has been refused to be printed 2 times at the pressing companies (Germany and Austria). The reason for this is the lyrics, the artwork and the album title are too offensive, too violent and pornographic and is against everything concerning the social values of our society. This means we have to make another cover art, adjust the songtitles, lyrics and album title."
The band has already put everything in progress to make the changes, for reasons obvious the album will not reach its intended release date, being October 25th. "The Cunt Collector" will be released through Italy's Pulsar Light Records in digipack format.
