Athelstan and Wulfstan started as founding members and they are brothers in real life too. The aim was to create powerful and epic Metal which should be seen as a tribute to their Anglo-Saxon ancestors, straight from the heart and with a very high level of quality. In August 1998 they recorded "Deep into Time" in their own home-studio and they released it themselves early 1999. The album was very well received in the underground. The follow-up "The Fighting Man" was released in October 2000 and even more positive reviews were published worldwide. In 2000 FOREFATHER released a limited CD called "Legends Untold" on Germany's Millennium Music, with unreleased tracks. By the beginning of 2002 the third and so far best album "Engla Tocyme" was released and it saw FOREFATHER's unique style brought even more to the forefront with all the power and passion one has come to expect ! Now FOREFATHER was contacted by KARMAGEDDON MEDIA to join forces on their new album called "Ours is the Kingdom" and it is definitely an album that is very mature and considered the best album so far. During 2004 the previous three albums will be re-released with bonus-material and in a re-mastered sound… the world will witness the Anglo-Saxon invasion again… the Kingdom is belonging to FOREFATHER !!!
STORMRIDER was formed in Stockholm, Sweden in February 1999. Soon the first steps in recording activity were taken and within 1999 the first demo "Born of Chaos" was released. This was followed by "God is Dead" in summer 2000 and "Into Battle" at the end of 2001. These releases build up a strong name and reputation in the European underground. It was thus not strange that STORMRIDER scored the long awaited record-deal with Swedish Destructive Records and entered the famous Abyss Studio in February 2003. Destructive Records could not live up to the agreement and STORMRIDER had a strong record in their hands, but no one to release it, so they started to send out some copies. NEW AEON MEDIA noticed the high potential and signed STORMRIDER without hesitation. By adding a bonus-track and a video-clip there were even some cool additions to the original version which was never really spread at all anyway.
VOX INTERIUM was formed in 1997, by Peter Syryca (drums) and Peter Nowak (guitar & vocals). After several line-up changes VOX INTERIUM recorded their first demo in June 1998, which was melodic and heavy in the Thrash/Doom style. It led to the first live-shows and good reviews in the underground scene. After this the band recorded 4 more demos to convince the press and make a strong appearance in the underground-scene. In 2001 their debut-CD "Zymosis of Souls" was released in Poland by a small underground label and VOX INTERIUM did a lot of interviews and live-shows, but problems occurred with their manager and label soon after. In 2002 Ralf Wojtowicz became the new bassplayer and VOX INTERIUM rose to a higher level. Finally "Yearning" was recorded, but not yet professionally released. When NEW AEON MEDIA heard this album they were convinced that VOX INTERIUM deserved to do their first real CD, and the experience of this Polish Death Metal band is obvious when you listen to the album...
