Metal Blade/Cold Records
Data dodania 2003-12-16Dodał TomashMetal Blade Records announced the collaboration with Cold Records from Sweden. Both parties have agreed on a license deal - from now on all releases from Cold Records will be pressed, marketed, promoted and distributed by Metal Blade Records all over Europe.
The plan is to release one album every three months, making it a total of four releases for the year 2004. The first three releases are already set, it will be new albums by TORCHBEARER, INCAPACITY and IN BATTLE.
Here's some info about the first three bands:
TORCHBEARER:
Fast and powerful Swedish death/thrash metal, with elements of black metal. Featuring members from Satariel, Setherial and Incapacity. The band is recording it's debut CD as we speak at Black Lounge with Jonas Kjelgren (Carnal Forge/Centinex). Probable March/April release.
INCAPACITY:
Swedish Death/Thrash Metal featuring members from Edge Of Sanity, Pan-Thy-Monium, Solar Dawn and Unmoored. Rave reviews for the first album "Chaos Complete". The second album is to be recorded in February 2004 at studio Soundlab (Nasum, Nine, The Project Hate). Confirmed to play at next year's Party-San Open Air! Probable June/July release.
IN BATTLE:
IN BATTLE have released two albums on Napalm Records. The new material is aggressive death metal in a new raw way, the music contains splendorous drum/guitar work, vocals go from aggressive "Slayer" chants to raw death 'n dark vocal. IN BATTLE can promise you a new kind of death metal and won't let you down. The band is now a five-piece act containing energies from Diabolical, Aeon, ex-Vintersorg. The debut is to be recorded in March/April 2004. Probable September release.
