After countless hours of waiting in limbo. After days of despair and sudden salvation. We are sad to inform you that the “Dark Rapture Festival 2” in Łódź has been cancelled.
Nobody in charge is willing to accept their responsibility and make the festival happen. Both the Dark Rapture Festival organizers as well as the Scenografia club have decided to throw everyone under the bus, and let the festival and everyone attending burn freely. The club who willingly took over the event on Monday 14.10.19 are now passing blame onto the Dark Rapture Festival organization in order to avoid any responsibility and further liability, while the Dark Rapture Festival organizer have decided to close her Facebook account and go underground.
We, the artists, must admit, that never before in our careers, have we ever worked with anyone handling the organization of such an event so poorly. Never before. The incompetence and arrogance to call to arms and let everyone believe that if you just buy more tickets, if you engage and commit, you can save the festival. To mobilize the fans, the artists and everyone involved to make a difference. To ultimately save the festival by the act of a sole benefactor buying 80 tickets and hence making sure the festival would take place. Thank you Damien Carter. And thereafter making an official announcement that the festival has been saved once and for all, only to retreat into silence and non-communication for days, finally to return just to inform everyone involved, in a private online dialogue, that they are ultimately cancelling the event because nobody is willing to take the risk and responsibility.
This is and has been a complete shit circus. We apologize to each and everyone of you who had planned to attend. We have contacted the organizer and the club to make something happen, to come up with ANY sort of solution that won’t leave everyone empty handed, but nobody is interested in taking any responsibility, so all our attempts have been in vain. None of the artists have been paid and Mortiis is forced to travel to Warsaw on Friday, pay his own hotel and wait for his connecting flight to Kraków on Sunday. IF we could we would come, but we don’t have a venue, we don’t have a stage and we don’t even have airplane tickets, so there’s nothing we can do but to burn freely along with the rest of you and hope that karmic pendulum swings back in full force and lets all the responsible cowards involved get a taste of their own medicine.

Po niezliczonych godzinach oczekiwania w niepewności. Po dniach rozpaczy i niespodziewanego ocalenia. Z przykrością informujemy, że „Dark Rapture Festival II” w Łodzi został odwołany.
Żadna z osób stojących za sterami nie chce przyjąć na siebie odpowiedzialności za festiwal i go urzeczywistnić. Zarówno organizatorzy Dark Rapture Festival, jak i klub Scenografia postanowili spalić żywcem festiwal i rzucić jego uczestników na pożarcie. Klub, który w poniedziałek 14.10.19 chętnie przejął to wydarzenie, przerzuca teraz winę na organizatorów Dark Rapture Festival, żeby uniknąć odpowiedzialności i dalszych zobowiązań, podczas gdy organizatorka Dark Rapture Festival postanowiła usunąć swoje konto na Facebooku i zejść do podziemia.
My, artyści, musimy przyznać, że nigdy w naszej karierze nie pracowaliśmy z nikim, kto tak słabo radzi sobie z organizacją takich wydarzeń. Nigdy wcześniej. Cóż za niekompetencja i arogancja, żeby wezwać wszystkich do broni i pozwolić im uwierzyć, że jeśli tylko kupią więcej biletów, jeśli się zaangażują i poświęcą sprawie, mogą uratować festiwal. Żeby zmobilizować fanów, artystów i wszystkich innych zainteresowanych do działania, sugerując, że mogą coś zmienić. Żeby ostatecznie ocalić festiwal aktem jedynego dobroczyńcy, który kupuje 80 biletów, i zapewnić, że festiwal się odbędzie. Dziękuję Damien Carter. Oficjalnie ogłoszono, że festiwal jest na dobre ocalony, tylko po to, żeby zaraz potem uciec na kilka dni w milczenie i brak komunikacji i w końcu powrócić, informując wszystkich zainteresowanych, w prywatnych wiadomościach online, że wydarzenie jest definitywnie anulowane, ponieważ nikt nie jest skłonny do podjęcia ryzyka i odpowiedzialności.
To jest i był cholerny cyrk. Przepraszamy wszystkich, którzy planowali wziąć udział w festiwalu. Skontaktowaliśmy się z organizatorem i klubem z nadzieją, że jednak się odbędzie, że znajdziemy JAKIEKOLWIEK rozwiązanie, które nie pozostawi nas wszystkich z pustymi rękami, ale nikt nie jest zainteresowany wzięcie
