It has been silent here for a long time, but Vemod has not been idle. For the last few months we have been deeply immersed in our work with the music that is to become our next album. The maturation process has been steady, and we have seen the material go through many transmutations as we have been slowly growing it toward its true character. We feel now that we are beginning to see the contours of its final form, and we are eager to enter the next phase, the recording. More on that in due time.

First of all, thank you for the almost overwhelmingly positive response to the last post - that was very encouraging and inspiring, truly! We will take all this energy with us and fuel it into the work ahead.

I suddenly remembered this, which I am quite certain was never posted here. It's an interview done by Andrew Cunningham, originally intended for his zine 'The Winding Sheet', which sadly never materialised, and thus it was published over at Metal Ireland earlier this year instead. This conversation is already quite old (two years or so?), but I thought some of you might appreciate it anyway. Thanks to Andrew for taking the time back then!

Another weekend of recording done. Another step towards a new record taken. Thinking of the mysterious ways music somehow slowly comes together, in the end.

We are extremely excited to present to you our new live drummer V. Einride!

He is a seasoned musician with years of experience, a wildly talented drummer and a good friend as well, and we can't wait for him to be the beating heart of the Vemod live entity.

Rehearsals are going beyond all expectations and we are simply thrilled to know that we will be back performing our music on stage again in a not too distant future.

Dobrze widzę? Teraz blek mefalofce noszą samurajskie kucyki ?? :D Pewnie po koncercie poszli na pierożki bezglutenowe i sojowe late...i prowadzili dyskusję na temat ekologii oraz równouprawnienia osób LGBT :D

Åsli przylazł na koncert z pudełkiem jedzeniów, więc bardzo możliwe że to były np. algi. Na żywo tym razem niestety nie pykło, nowe kawałki były bardzo zesoltafirzone a i typ z Whoredom Rife na garach nie bardzo się wpasował. Jak czekalem na nową płytę i uważałem ją za genialnego pewniaka tak teraz zaczynam się obawiać...
