I still don't fucken get why the guys from Picture Ann insist on being labeled ambient black metal when there's hardly any (black) metal to speak of, so I'll leave that in the middle. No. Just call this ambient, and be done with it. By Odin, this is fucken great. More guitar-centric obviously than, say, Signalfeide - but equally laidback and relaxing. There are some vocals, but thankfully they are merely whispers and solemn spoken word, kinda like Equimanthorn. To be entirely fucken honest, I wish the guy would just shut the fuck up entirely, and let the music do what it is supposed to do. Then again, I'm not a fucken musician, and maybe the guy has something really important to say. Who cares, really?! Great things have come from Denmark. Iniquity, King Diamond and Malene Espensen most prominently amongst them. At this point I think I fucken like Malene more than Iniquity. She certainly is easier on the eyes for one thing, and for the other no matter how hard you fucken try, it's impossible to find pictures of her clothed. Just saying. I suppose these guys could actually pull off an Equimanthorn sort of record if they could fucken focus long enough on one thing. The organs in 'Rituals Of Decay' were super scary and spooky. There isn't really a bad song on this record, given that you listen to this record as a fucken whole. The songs themselves kinda bleed together, and the tempo hardly ever changes, if at fucken all. Anyway, the guitar work (which the guys try to pass off as black metal) actually has more in common with fucken Jimi Hendrix, which I'm perfectly fucken happy with - cos good ol' Jimi put more emotion in his riffs back in the day than the entirety of the American death metal scene of the, I dunno, last fifteen years combined. Again, why these guys insist on being labeled black metal is one of the great enigmas of the album - but who the fuck cares about trivial shit like that? This record rocks, and I couldn't care less about how they prefer to label it. For fuck's sake, I swear that the riff in 'The Surrender Of Four' sounds exactly like the one in Metallica's 'Poor Twisted Me'. I'm not even kidding. Exactly how fucken grim and necro were you Danish pastries again? This shit is hilarious. If self-professed black metal bands are gonna start ripping off Metallica, we're in a whole new level of fucken trouble. On the whole "A Bone Case For Papery Skin" is pretty good however, and even better if they would stop pretending to be a metal band, cos they certainly are not. I suppose with the whole Cascadian - and shoegaze black metal movement hipsters all over the world are dying to hear this, just so they can imitate it with one of the bedroom black metal projects that I really have no interest in hearing. The conformity and clique mentality of black metal never ceases to amaze me. I'm sure Euronymous' bones are twisting in his grave right now. This is not black metal. I'm not a big defender of the genre, but don't fucken expect me to follow in your madness. This is ambient rock, nothing more. Thank fucken Odin it is actually pretty good, which is never a given with known metal musicians.

...co do saksofonu to był to przypadek całkowity. Bo idąc coś zjeść do miasta napotkaliśmy kolesia który na ulicy grał na saksofonie. Zagadałem do niego żeby nagrał nam jakieś partie i zgodził się. Oczywiście nie miał pojęcia na co się porwał, do tego komunikacja nie była najlepsza, bo okazał się być obywatelem Ukrainy i język polski nie był dobry albo w ogóle go nie było...
