New York technical death metallers Suffocation form the second partaker in the third generation of Roadrunner's trademark "best of" series. With the critical reception of Suffocation's second Relapse Records album "Suffocation" former contractor Roadrunner Records has now released this "best of" to coincide with renewed interest in the band. First there are 5 tracks of "Effigy Of the Forgotten", 4 tracks of "Breeding the Spawn" and 3 tracks of "Pierced From Within". The chronological order of the tracklist also neatly points out the band's impressive evolution as musicians and songwriters. The tracklist and song choice is obvious but representative for the band and the label seen in the context of release. All things considered the choice in songs is pretty dead-on compared to how most "best of" albums work. If you own the albums featured on this compilation, there's no need to rush out to buy this disc, since all tracks included are the album versions. The artwork is basic but quite typical (and fairly unspectacular) for the series. If you are new to Suffocation's older material, this is an ideal place to start from. Long time fans, however, will find absolutely nothing of interest here.

...co do saksofonu to był to przypadek całkowity. Bo idąc coś zjeść do miasta napotkaliśmy kolesia który na ulicy grał na saksofonie. Zagadałem do niego żeby nagrał nam jakieś partie i zgodził się. Oczywiście nie miał pojęcia na co się porwał, do tego komunikacja nie była najlepsza, bo okazał się być obywatelem Ukrainy i język polski nie był dobry albo w ogóle go nie było...
