close x Least Worst Option is the new and independently operated media review project of long-time Masterful Magazine scribe Wouter Roemers. He will remain with us, while doing his own project. The goal is to cover metal records, both old and new, in greater length and detail on comparison to the more compact reviews people have come to expect here. Least Worst Option will cover mostly metal records, but will occasionally venture into pop territory to keep things interesting, coverage of old and new video games is something to be found there as well. Check out all of this and more at www.leastworstoption.com .

Amputated

"Dissect, Molest, Ingest"
Amputated got amputated, and I’m not even kidding when I fucken say this. This used to be “that other band from Ollie Jones of Desecration”. Anyway, so nobody from the old line-up is in the band anymore – in their stead we now got most of Caiaphas, a metalcore band naming itself after that legendary hack from Norwegian-Italian melodic black metal band Ancient. • Furia - "Marzannie, Królowej Polski" out now on LP format

    2012-06-19

After several months since the release of, it's time to present the latest Furia masterpiece "Marzannie Krolowej Polski" on LP format. Released on black vinyl, packed in gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeve. The LP version has different cover and lay out compared to the CD version. Polish act Furia was formed in 2003. Words that are most frequently used to describe their unique brand of Black Metal include cold, sinister, mournful, angry, melancholic - and they'll all fit. From the beginning their style presents the band going individual and its own path and are not afraid of testing the antiquated rules of what Black Metal is capable of.
